What does 10 bit color mean?.
The current bit is the smallest unit for calculating digitized data, which can be 0 or 1, or white and black. So with 10-bit depth we will have 2^10 (1024) for each red, green and blue value. After blending we will have 1024 x 1024 x 1024 = 1.07 billion different colors. For 8-bit it would be about 16 million colors. Therefore, 10-bit screen will be able to display colors and images with much more accuracy and perfection than 8-bit.
